HYDRIA
UVERSATILE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM FOR ADVANCED THERAPEUTIC SOLUTIONS.
IDRIA is a is a closed-loop system for peripheral blood processing, which allows up to 28ml of processable blood to be collected without contamination by catabolic elements, with total depletion of granulocytes, to obtain a platelet- and monocyte-rich plasma (PBMNC), resuspended in plasma.
The system is designed to be used independently or in combination with our plasma ultrafiltration technologies, PROTSMART™ and EXOsmart®, thus providing flexibility of use in different therapeutic solutions.
IDRIA It is composed of IDRIA G, IDRIA M, IDRIA S+, and IDRIA B.
HYDRIA
IDRIA G is a medical device with a separating gel and an anticoagulant (M-ACD-7) inside:
allows the formation of pure PRP in plasma, characterized by the partial presence of mononuclear cells and the complete depletion of red blood cells. Separation during centrifugation allows the blood components to be distinguished according to their density. Platelets are concentrated at the top of the gel, while granulocytes and red blood cells are trapped under the gel. Idria G is capable of processing up to 24 ml of blood and does not require a dedicated centrifuge platform, making it compatible with 50 ml tube instruments.
IDRIA M offers, along with the features of IDRIA G a greater amount of mononuclear cells.
Selects exclusively anabolic components such as platelet growth factors (TGF β1, VEGF, PDGF) while completely eliminating erythrocytes and granulocytes.
IDRIA S+ contains glass beads loaded with positive ions and does not contain a separating gel or anticoagulant. The interaction between the spheres and monocytes stimulates the cells to release mediators of inflammation such as the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-1Ra, allowing the formation of an autologous serum rich in anti-inflammatory cytokines. IDRIA S+ can be used alone or in combination with PROTSMART™ to obtain a hyperconcentrated cytokine-enriched serum.
IDRIA B consisting of a labeled vacutainer tube with graduated scale intended for the preparation of blood components (Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP), Platelet Concentrate (CP).
The filtration technology of PROTSMART™ and EXOSmart®, is based on membrane capillarity and allows concentration of blood products above a certain molecular weight.
In our case, PROTSMART™ / EXOSmart® can concentrate PRP and PPP with volume reduction on the order of 75-80%.
PROTSMART™
Protsmart
PROTSMART™ with PROTSMART™ 2, PROTSMART™ 4 and PROTSMART™ 6 are hemoconcentration devices composed of a hollow capillary membrane that are used downstream of the blood preparation method to concentrate more platelets, mononuclear cells, plasma proteins and cytokines.
PROTSMART™ can eliminate or significantly reduce plasma water from the final product, concentrating proteins and cells for use in regenerative medicine, resulting in ideal concentrations for different therapeutic applications.
Our Concept is the total “restitutio ad integrum” of all cells, cytokines and exosomes produced and concentrated at the patient bedside.
EXOsmart®
Exosmart
EXOsmart® is a blood component ultrafilter and is designed to produce and concentrate autologous exosomes and plasma vesicles. Exosmart is not only capable of recovering and filtering the exosomes released during centrifugation but is capable of stimulating platelets to produce more of them during the ultrafiltration phase.
